What time is check-in and checkout?
Check-in is at 3 PM. We welcome check-ins until midnight. Checkout is at 11 AM.
Is early check-in available?
We can usually accommodate early check-ins before 2 PM for a small fee of $35. If you’re interested in early check-in, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the front desk.
Is late checkout available?
We can usually accommodate late checkouts for a small fee.
- Checkouts until 1 PM: $25
- Checkouts between 1 PM and 3 PM: $55
Do you require a credit card to guarantee my reservation?
Your reservation must be guaranteed with a valid credit card number at the time of booking. The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas Tampa will place an authorization on the credit card for one night of the room rate and tax within the cancellation window. If the authorization is unsuccessful, the reservation is not guaranteed and is subject to cancellation. If the authorization is successful, your room will be available until midnight on the day of arrival. If you fail to arrive by midnight, your room will be released and may not be available. If you fail to arrive, 100 percent of the first night will be charged. Upon check-in, an authorization will be placed on your debit or credit card for the anticipated full amount of your stay, including a $100 fee for incidentals per reservation. Cash payment is only accepted upon checkout.
What payment types are accepted?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover & Diner's Club.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations may be cancelled until 72 hours prior to the day of your arrival by 3 PM Eastern to avoid a cancellation penalty of one night’s room rate and tax. If you depart the hotel earlier than your reserved departure date, an early departure fee of one night’s room rate and tax apply. If changes are made to your reservation after booking, rates are subject to change and are based upon availability.
What is included in the resort fee?
A daily resort fee of $18 plus tax applies to all room reservations. The resort fee includes:
- Self-parking (one space per reservation)
- Two bottles of water per night
- Fast Wi-Fi access on multiple devices
- Access to the fitness center
- In-room coffee
- A one-hour bicycle rental
- Mobile printing and fax services
- Preferred access to certain WTR events and activities
Are there fees to visit WTR Pool & Cabanas?
WTR Pool & Cabanas is an age 21 and over venue. On Fridays through Sundays, cover charges and cabana rental fees apply. Please contact +1 (813) 281-0566 for more information.
Is smoking allowed?
No, The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas Tampa is a smoke-free property.
Do you have a fitness center, print/fax services, a restaurant and pool?
Yes! We offer all of the above. Click here to learn about our amenities. Access to the fitness center, print/fax services and more are included with your resort fee.
Does the hotel have a shuttle?
We offer drop-offs to Tampa International Airport Thursday through Monday from 5:30 AM to 3 PM. Times are subject to change; please inquire at the front desk.
What is the minimum age requirement to reserve a room?
At least one guest must be age 21 to check in. A valid ID is required.
Can I bring my pet?
We welcome your pet! Fees start at $50 per night and vary depending on the size and breed of your dog. At check-in, you will be required to sign a pet form. All pets not accounted for at the time of check-in are subject to a non-refundable cleaning fee of $150.
Do you have on-site parking?
Yes, parking is available for $5 per night, subject to change without notice. Parking for one car is included in your resort fee. Parking for oversized vehicles, including trailers with jet skis and boats, is not available.

How can I book 10 or more rooms?
The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas Tampa considers 10 or more rooms a group. To book, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We reserve the right to cancel 10 or more rooms booked online.
Does the hotel have rollaway beds?
The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas Tampa does not offer rollaway beds.
Do you have cribs?
We have a limited number of Pack ‘N Plays. To request one, please email email@example.com.
What is the maximum number of people allowed per room?
Our rooms accommodate four people. You may add an extra adult for a fee of $10. Children age 17 or under stay free when they’re in an existing room with an accompanying adult.
Can I leave my luggage at the hotel before check-in?
Yes! We are happy to store your luggage for a few hours before check-in.
Can I have packages delivered to your hotel?
We accept packages at the front desk. There is a handling fee of $5 per package.
How do I report a missing item?

Are the restaurants open?

Can I get food delivered to the hotel?
Of course! We’re happy to provide a list of nearby delivery options at check-in.

Yes, our pool is open!
Is the fitness center open?
Yes, the fitness center is open with limited capacity to maintain social distancing.
Is the hotel implementing any enhanced cleaning or guest safety measures?
Stringent cleaning and disinfecting protocols are in place. We are using only disinfectants qualified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as effective against COVID-19. Click here to read more about our cleaning procedures.
Is contactless check-in and checkout available?
We do not offer contactless check-in, but we practice social distancing. When you’re ready to check out, you may drop off your key without contact.
Does your staff wear personal protective equipment, like masks and gloves?
Yes. All staff are required to wear masks. Gloves are worn when appropriate.
Do you provide masks to guests?
No, we do not. Disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer are available at entrances and in all high-traffic areas.
